In 7 days Gulf of Mexico Red Snapper and Gag Grouper recreational season opens up on June 1st. This is a season that has grown very popular over the past several years, and for our area in Naples isn’t for the Faint of Heart. Typically we are travelling 65-100 miles either in the blistering sun or busting through some intense summer thunderstorms to catch those american reds, and the famous hard fighting gags. Be sure to check all your safety gear before you head out and have a safe trip for the 2016 season. Here are some recent pictures from a trip checking out the “grounds”.
