Despite the 10-15 inches of rain, we saw this past week here in Naples we were able to get a few charter trips in. Fishing is really good lately for several different species. The full-day trips are producing lots of nice red grouper and yellowtails on the hard bottom offshore. Half day trips are producing plenty of lane snapper and sharks with a few keeper-size grouper in the mix. We have been enjoying doing some wreck fishing as well for Permit, Cobia and the massive Goliath Grouper. Summer patterns are upon us with a few showers and thunderstorms scattered around the gulf throughout the fishing days.
