Well we went out today after being stuck on land for two days watching the wind blow, due to a passing cold front. Our crew was a bit late this morning to arrive after being possibly over served last night at one of the local Naples watering holes! We pushed out offshore and didn’t bother stopping for any live bait on the way. I wanted to check an area of hard bottom I marked last season running in from an overnight trip offshore. We fired down some new jigs we got and it was all over! We filled our red grouper quota on the first drop, and sniffed around at some more bottom right there releasing several more nice big keepers while putting some snapper and porgies on ice as well. We are looking forward to the next few days of great weather, good clients, and lots of fish! #naplesfishingboat
